This is a quick “newsletter” regarding what’s happening
with ERFRC this next month or so. We had a terrific fund-raiser on June 13th at New World
Landing. I was so sorry to see that so many of our own members
did not attend this wonderful, successful event. Cheri Honeycutt
outdid herself with a fabulously written murder mystery. We had
over 170 people attend and I thank all of you from our club who did
support this event. As you know, that’s our way of raising money
for the scholarship fund, our troops, and local charities. I’m
attaching some pictures from the event and I think you’ll all agree
that it was quite the production. Everyone who attended was entertained
and said they thoroughly enjoyed it. In July, we will have NO MEETING, but will resume again
for August. At this moment we are awaiting word from our future
guest speaker, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out. You won’t
be disappointed. Another point that I’d like to address concerns our
club’s future for 2010. I will have a separate page devoted to
a questionnaire which will determine how we will proceed for 2010.
Please take the time to fill it out and email it back to me. We’d
like to know what our members would like to see for these next few years.
Now is the time to speak up and express your views. I’d like to thank my wonderful board for their devoted
service and time so far. Everyone is doing a great job and I couldn’t
do this without all of you and your support!!! Whenever I need
something, everyone is ready to jump in and do whatever is needed. THANK
YOU!!!! In September, Maureen Valentino and I will attend the
35th Biennial Convention of the National Federation of Republican Women
